Roisin Murphy is currently working on her third solo studio album. There is no release date, but a Christmas 2009 date seems accurate.
Despite well known troubles at EMI, Murphy said in an interview in August 2008 that she is currently working on her third studio solo album. She said she was working with the producer from her sophomore album "Overpowered," Seiji, to give the third album the "sleepy, synthesized vibe" that "Overpowered" had.
There is also rumoured news that "Overpowered" will finally get a North American release date, two years after being originally released. Not a record though, Robyn's self-titled fourth album was released three years after it's European release. Let's hope "Overpowered" is released soon because the album is brilliant. I have been listening to it ever since I discovered the album back in October 2007. The US population wouldn't "get" the album but I could see it doing reasonably well in Canada.

I can't believe "Overpowered" still hasn't been released in North America; that's a crime. Such a brilliant album.
I can't wait for her new album to come out! Christmas is too long! But I'm sure it will be brilliant.
