Missy Elliott Is A 'Heavy Hitter'

Missy Elliott is finally set to release her lead single from her many-years delayed seventh studio album, 'Block Party.'

'Heavy Hitter' featuring Timbaland is being released along side another single titled, '9th Inning.' I guess its her way of thanking her fans for keeping us waiting four years. Both singles were produced by Timbaland and will be sent to radio on September 24. 

The music videos for both singles will follow in October. These tracks will be the first new singles from Missy Elliott since 'Ching-A-Ling' in the Fall of 2008.

'Block Party' is scheduled to be released in November 2012.

M.I.A. 2 Release 'Bad Girls' Remixes

M.I.A. released her first single, 'Bad Girls' back in January 2012 from her forthcoming fourth studio album.

She has decided to release a special USB key in the form of the necklace she wore in the 'Bad Girls' music video. The USB key will include three remixes along with the album version, the music video and making of.

The USB key will be available to purchase on her official website starting July 6. It will cost $50.
