Peaches 2 Release "I Feel Cream"

Peaches is set to release her third official single, off her fourth studio album, "I Feel Cream."

The title track will be the third single and will be released on November 10. The music video premiered today, October 21, 2009. And in keeping with Peaches plan to release one video for each and every song on the record, the video for “I Feel Cream” premiered today on YouTube. This will be 6th video to be released following "Talk To Me," "More," "Lose You," "Serpentine (I Don't Give A Fuck Part 2" and "Take You On."

The "I Feel Cream" single will include a remix by Cory Enemy which can be heard here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6SK0yfovENw

"I Feel Cream" is my favourite track on the album so I am thrilled it was chosen to represent the album! Now to complete the album would be to release two more singles, "Billionaire" and "Mommy Complex."

Rihanna 2 Play "Russian Roulette"

Rihanna is set to release her first official single, from her fourth studio album, "Rated R" to be released on November 23, 2009.

"Russian Roulette" will be released to radio on October 23, with a digital release on October 27. The music video was shot over the weekend on October 17 - 18 and will premiere in November.

This track was not the best choice to release as the lead single. I was expecting an uptempo track to lead the new album, "Rated R."

GaGa 2 Release "Bad Romance"

Lady GaGa is set to release her sixth official (seventh overall) single from her debut album, "The Fame."

The album is about to be re-released as "The Fame Monster" on November 24 and will feature the lead single "Bad Romance." "The Fame" has already spawned off five hit singles, "Just Dance," "Poker Face," "Eh Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say)," "LoveGame" and "Paparazzi" as well as the promo single, "Beautiful Dirty Rich."

"Bad Romance" will be released to radio on Monday, October 19 and will be released digitally on October 27 with a music video to follow.

Britney 2 Release "The Video Collection"

Britney Spears is set to release her box set, "The Singles Collection" on November 24, 2009.

The box set will include a DVD with 26 of Britney's music videos in chronological order. The DVD will not be sold separately, you must purchase the box set to receive the music videos.

Here is the official track listing for "The Video Collection":

01 - ...Baby One More Time
02 - Sometimes
03 - (You Drive Me) Crazy (The Stop Remix)
04 - Born to Make You Happy
05 - From the Bottom of My Broken Heart
06 - Oops!... I Did It Again
07 - Lucky
08 - Stronger
09 - Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know
10 - I'm a Slave 4 U
11 - Overprotected (The Darkchild Remix)
12 - I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman
13 - I Love Rock 'n' Roll
14 - Me Against the Music (featuring Madonna)
15 - Toxic
16 - Everytime
17 - My Prerogative
18 - Do Somethin'
19 - Someday (I Will Understand)
20 - Gimme More
21 - Piece of Me
22 - Break the Ice
23 - Womanizer
24 - Circus
25 - If U Seek Amy
26 - Radar

There are only four music videos that did not make the cut. Here they are:

- Overprotected (Album/UK Version)
- Boys (The Co-Ed Remix)
- Outrageous
- 3

I think I know why those four were not included. "Overprotected (Album/UK Version)" will most likely be avaialble on the UK DVD while we have the remix video. "Boys" was apart of the Austin Powers soundtrack, may not have had the rights to include it. "Outrageous" video was never finished and the "3" video was just shot so it may also not be finished in time to start making the DVD. If you have the "My Prerogative: Greatest Hits" video collection (like I do) than the first three music videos you should already have.

Beyonce's "Video Phone" 2 B Remixed

Beyonce is set to release her eighth single off her third studio album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce".

"Video Phone" will be released as the eighth single on November 10, 2009. Just recently it has been announced that "Video Phone" will now be a remix which will feature the amazing Lady GaGa.

"On Oct. 7, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were working on the video together at a studio in NYC." "Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight."

This sounds amazing, I already loved "Video Phone" as is but to now have Lady GaGa on the remix will make this track even hotter!

GaGa 2 Embark on "The Monster Ball Tour"

Lady Gaga today announced plans for her North American tour, entitled "The Monster Ball." The tour will begin on November 27 in Montreal, and will wind up on January 21, 2010 in Gaga's hometown, New York City. Kid Cudi will be the supporting act for the entire tour.

Says Lady Gaga, "The Haus of Gaga had been designing 'The Monster Ball' for premiere in 2010 at the O2 Arena in London, but due to diligent work and preparation, 'The Monster Ball' will begin on November 27 in Montreal. 'The Monster Ball' is a multimedia artistic experience in the style of the first-ever 'pop electro opera.'"

Lady Gaga will release a re-package of her breakthrough album, The Fame, called The Fame Monster, earlier that week, on November 23. The re-package will include eight brand new songs, including the club-banging first single "Bad Romance." Continues Lady Gaga, "A message to all my little monsters: The Fame Monster will come out four days before the first live show. You have exactly 96 hours to learn all of the lyrics so you can sing along. Dress accordingly."

The dates for "The Monster Ball" are:

November 27 – Montreal, Quebec, Canada – The Bell Centre
November 28 – Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Air Canada Centre
November 29 – Ottawa, Ontario, Canada – Scotiabank Place
December 01 – Boston, MA – Wang Center
December 02 – Boston, MA – Wang Center
December 03 – Camden, NJ – Susquehanna
December 09 – Vancouver, BC, Canada – Queen Elizabeth Theatre
December 10 – Vancouver, BC, Canada – Queen Elizabeth Theatre
December 13 – San Francisco, CA – Bill Graham Civic
December 18 – Las Vegas, NV – TBD
December 19 – San Diego, CA – San Diego Sports Arena
December 21 – Los Angeles, CA – Nokia Theatre
December 29 – Atlanta, GA – Fox Theater
December 31 – Miami, FL – Knight Center
January 03 – Orlando, FL – The Hard Rock
January 07 – St. Louis, MO – The Fox
January 08 – Chicago, IL – Chicago Theatre
January 09 – Chicago, IL – Chicago Theatre
January 12 – Detroit, MI – Fox Theater
January 16 – Atlantic City, NJ – Borgata
January 20 – New York, NY – Radio City Music Hall
January 21 – New York, NY – Radio City Music Hall

I really hope I can get tickets to see Lady GaGa in Toronto on November 28!!! I saw her in a small venue last November at CIRCA and she only performed 6 tracks. I'd love to see a full scale tour with all the tracks.

This re-release is a waste of time and money because it only includes one new track. The DVD will include all the videos released so far from the album but there will be a Anthology with all the music videos to be released later on, so the re-release is not a good purchase.

Britney's "3" Breaks Billboard Record

Britney Spears becomes the first artist in over three years to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (October 15), as "3" opens at the pinnacle of the chart. Her new track, a racy paean to the joys of three-way sex from the upcoming hits set "The Singles Collection," due November 24, shifts 255,000 downloads in its first week of release, also propelling it to No. 1 on Digital Songs. The title also jumps 38-25 on the Pop Songs chart and debuts at No. 49 on Radio Songs/Hot 100 Airplay, which ranks songs based on airplay audience on all radio formats.

"3" is the first title to debut at No. 1 since Taylor Hicks' "American Idol" victory song "Do I Make You Proud" did so on the chart dated July 1, 2006. In fact, the last four songs to open at No. 1 were all "American Idol"-related. Prior to Hicks, Carrie Underwood's "Inside Your Heaven" (July 2, 2005), "I Believe" by Fantasia (July 10, 2004) and Clay Aiken's "This Is The Night" each debuted at No. 1. The last non-"Idol" song to open at No. 1 was Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop (That Thing)" on Nov. 14, 1998. "3" is Spears' third Hot 100 No. 1. Her debut single "...Baby One More Time" spent two weeks at No. 1 in 1999 and "Womanizer" spent a sole frame at the top, exactly one year ago this week, on the chart dated Oct. 25, 2008.

"3" becomes the first non- American Idol song to debut at No. 1 in over 11 years.

Rihanna 2 Release Fourth Album

The Internet lit up late Tuesday afternoon (October 13) when Rihanna issued a super-brief tweet saying simply: "The Wait Is Ova. Nov 23 09."

Of course, that message, which was accompanied by a metallic "R" logo, could mean a lot of things (the same message is posted on her Web site), but it seems very likely she's talking about her forthcoming album, which "Umbrella" producer Tricky Stewart, who's slated to hit the studio with Rihanna this month, told Rap-Up.com last week might be released this year.

"I do believe it is [going to drop this year]," Stewart said. "We're actually just getting started. I just wrote some records that I'm in love with this past week.

"Rihanna and I will be getting in the studio sometime in the next two weeks, so we actually have not recorded anything for her new album yet."

At press time, reps for Rihanna had not responded to requests for comment on the status of her new recordings. Rihanna has been working on new material with Justin Timberlake, Norwegian hitmakers Stargate, All-American Rejects' Tyson Ritter and U.K. duo Chase & Status at various points this year.

"The stuff we've come up with in the studio, it's the next step for her. It's a little more grown-up. It's got some edge to it," Timberlake said last month. The two previously collaborated on "Rehab," from Rihanna's Good Girl Gone Bad LP.

And Stewart said that despite the success of "Umbrella," he and Rihanna have no intention of trying to repeat that song's formula.

"Man, you know we can't do that. We come out with something that sounds like 'Umbrella,' they're gonna be saying that we tried to do something that sounded like 'Umbrella,' " he said. "That's not what the great artists do. They don't even allow you to do stuff like that. Every great artist always wants to hear something they've never heard before."

Stewart also said that Rihanna hasn't changed since they first started working together. "She's just a pleasure," he said. "She's a very sweet, down-to-earth person. You would never know how successful she is 'cause she's just so nice and warm. I guess maybe it's her background of being from the [Caribbean]. She's just a really sweet, warm person to be around."

P!nk 2 Release "I Don't Believe You"

P!nk is set to release her fifth worldwide single (final UK single, sixth Australian single) off her fifth studio album, "Funhouse."

"I Don't Believe You" is the perfect track to release, very radio-friendly and a standout track off "Funhouse." I was waiting patiently for this to be a single. "I Don't Believe You" will impact radio around the world on November 2. The music video will premiere this Friday, October 16. It will impact radio in North America on November 20 because her previous single, "Funhouse" is still picking up steam in the USA.

Katy Perry 2 Release Live CD/DVD

Katy Perry is set to release her first Live CD titled "MTV: Unplugged" on November 17, 2009.

"MTV:Unplugged" comprises stripped-down songs performed by Perry for MTV on July 22, 2009 in New York City as part of the MTV Unplugged series. The album features rearranged takes on hit songs like "I Kissed a Girl," "Waking Up In Vegas, and "Thinking of You" as well as two brand-new songs, Perry's version of Fountains of Wayne's "Hackensack" and a never-before-released original song called "Brick by Brick."
The DVD will also feature exclusive interview footage.

Here is the official track listing for "MTV: Unplugged":

01 - "I Kissed a Girl"
02 - "Ur So Gay"
03 - "Hackensack (Fountains of Wayne Cover)"
04 - "Thinking of You"
05 - "Lost"
06 - "Waking Up in Vegas"
07 - "Brick by Brick"

There is no official information regarding a single to support the album. I would assume if a single is chosen it would either be the track "Lost" from her previous album or "Brick By Brick".

Janet 2 Release New Single "Make Me"

Janet Jackson is set to release her career retrospective titled "Number Ones" on November 17, 2009.

The lead and only single will be "Make Me" which will impact radio on October 16. The music video will premiere the week of Halloween.

Lily Allen 2 Release "Who'd Have Known"

Lily Allen is set to release her fifth worldwide single (fourth UK single) off her sophomore effort, "It's Not Me, It's You."

"Who'd Have Known" will be released on November 23, 2009. The music video will premiere the week of Halloween.

I enjoy this track but do not see it as single-worthy. I would have liked to have seen either "I Could Say" or "Back To The Start" as a single instead.

"Heroes" Still Doing Great For NBC

No wonder NBC still has a lot of faith in the show — even if overnight ratings give the impression that "Heroes" is on a downward spiral when it comes to viewers, other factors are playing a big part in supporting NBC’s decision to hold fast. The latest DVR numbers, aka time-shifted ratings, have "Heroes" doing much better than originally thought in the highly coveted 18 to 49 demo. As well, TV networks take into account the on demand services and internet website viewings that let viewers watch the TV series on there on schedule.

The NY Times has more: "The NBC drama looked as if it were about to fade into oblivion based on the same-day ratings for its first couple of episodes this fall. But when results from the playback of the show over a seven-day period on digital video recorders were released Monday, the picture for “Heroes,” as well as almost half of the shows on network television, brightened considerably.
The overall audience for “Heroes” grew by 26 percent from the numbers that were reported the day after its premiere episode was shown two weeks ago; more significant, among the viewers NBC most cares about, ages 18 to 49, “Heroes” jumped from a 2.8 rating to a 3.7, well above the average for network programs."

I have been thinking this way ever since Season 3 started. Season 3 was crazy good yet wasn't watched much on TV. When you take into account the time shifting, website viewings and on demand viewership the series is doing quite well. Most people don't have time to dedicate 3 - 4 hours of TV shows a night, so they rely on other ways to watch their beloved shows. "Heroes" is one of my all-time favourite shows and I would be crushed to see it canceled after only 4 seasons! I want it to last for many years! This is great news!

A Major Death is Coming To "Heroes"

The deaths keep on coming. A major death is about to hit Heroes Season 4. It will be a male character who has been on the show since Season 1, and that his death will definitely “leave a mark”, which means the death won’t be that of a minor character.

"However, I will tell you that this leading character is a male, and he is not necessarily pictured above. (He might be, he might not be.) And he is one of the original cast."

So who is missing from the pic above? Peter, Nathan, and Sylar. Who is present? Matt, Mohinder, Ando, and Hiro. So where does that leave us? Some thoughts:

1) Hiro is already supposedly dying, so it doesn’t make sense that his “death” would be a “water cooler moment” as Kristin puts it. Since we’ve been hearing about it, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise.

2) Mohinder? We haven’t seen him at all season. Will he show up only to be killed off? Again, I’m not sure if his death would really “leave a mark” on the show, as he’s been completely absent from this season.

3) Sylar? If Sylar really were to die, it would have the most impact on the show. To be honest with you, with all the movie offers he’s getting after “Star Trek”, I’m stunned Zachary Quinto is still a regular on Heroes. Maybe that’s about to change…

So who do you think will die, and will they actually stay dead? This is Heroes, after all, where dying is sometimes just a minor inconvenience.

I personally do not think it will be either Sylar or Ando because both of them were not listed as series regulars in Season 1, they were regulars as of Season 2. That leaves Mohinder, Hiro, Peter, Nathan, Matt and Noah. I don't think it will be Hiro because we already know he is dying, Nathan was killed off last season, and Mohinder has been absent all season so far. I don't think it will be Peter because he has a huge fanbase with the show. That leaves Noah (Claire's dad) and Matt, I think either of them could be killed off. Noah because he going to get involved with capturing the circus. Matt could be killed off too. I will not miss Noah or Matt, so I wouldn't mind if either were killed off. There is only so much story line a character can cover.

TV Series Updates - Part 1

ABC has announced full season pick-up orders for its new drama "FlashForward" and new Wednesday night sitcoms "Cougar Town," "The Middle" and "Modern Family."

Notably missing is the fourth sitcom of that Wednesday night line-up, the Kelsey Grammar-led "Hank" which has been the worst performer of the four.

The quartet join FOX's "Glee" and "The Cleveland Show", and CBS' "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Good Wife" as new series to get full season orders. Though not official, The CW's "The Vampire Diaries" is a certainty for a full season order as well.

More details on the DVR habits of TV goers have emerged this week and revealed some shows to be doing far better when you factor in audiences recording the programs and watching them later.

In the key 18-49 demographic, the biggest jumps were seen for perennial hits like "Grey's Anatomy" (+1.5); "House" (+1.4); "CSI," "The Mentalist" and "The Office (+1); "Heroes," "Fringe" (+0.9). Those figures add up to an additional 2-3 million viewers per episode.

Among the new shows the biggest winners were "FlashForward" (+0.9), "Glee" (+0.8) and "Community" (+0.7).

I am so happy with the news. I love "FlashForward," "Modern Family," "Cougar Town", "Glee" and "The Good Wife". Glad all those shows have been picked up for a full first season!
