"Britney: For The Record" Comin 2 DVD

Britney Spears will release her 2008 documentary "Britney: For The Record" on April 7, 2009.

"Britney: For The Record" was originally telecasted on MTV/Much Music on November 30, 2008. It received critical and fan acclaim. The documentary reveals Spears most intimate moments, from the beginning of her much publicized meltdown, until how she returned to the music spotlight. She also reflects on past decisions, saying "I'm a smart person...What the hell was I thinking?!" For the Record includes footage from her appearance at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards, going into the recording studio, to the video shoots of her singles "Womanizer and "Circus"—songs off her sixth studio album, Circus—to rehearsals, and press tours. Madonna also makes a special appearance and commentary.

The special features have not yet been released but her official website says that the documentary will be longer than the televised one including rare scenes that didn't air on TV. As well as a bonus CD including unreleased remixes of her newest smash singles, "Womanizer" and "Circus."

Like other Britney DVDs, usually the DVD includes the music videos that were shot around that time. I do not think "Gimme More, " Piece of Me," "Break The Ice," Womanizer" and "Circus" will be included because I am sure Jive would have announced that. I hope Jive releases another DVD in the summer with all the music videos that have not been released yet including all singles from "Blackout" and "Circus."
