The CW has canceled its freshman drama 'The Secret Circle' starring Britt Robertson and Thomas Dekker.
'The Secret Circle' started off as a big hit for The CW, it's series premiere was watched by over three million viewers which is fantastic for the network. Over the last couple weeks 'Circle' has been bleeding in both viewership and ratings. With its lead-in, 'The Vampire Diaries' the series should have been a bigger hit than it was.
Here is the break down of the last five aired episodes:
Episode 18 - Sacrifice - March 29 - 1.33 million viewers
Episode 19 - Crystal - April 19 - 1.14 million viewers
Episode 20 - Traitor - April 26 - 1.15 million viewers
Episode 21 - Prom - May 3 - 1.23 million viewers
Episode 22 - Family (Series Finale) - May 10 - 1.28 million viewers
