On October 4, NBC gave 'Night' the 'back 9' bringing the first season from 13 episodes to a full season 22 episodes. This comes as no surprise considering its one of NBC's biggest freshman comedies of the 2011/2012 season.
Here is a breakdown of the already aired episodes:
01 - Pilot - 3.8 rating - 10.95 million viewers
02 - Cool Neighbors - 2.4 rating - 6.80 million viewers
03 - Working Late and Working It - 2.1 rating - 5.34 million viewers
We will find out if this decision was done too quick. There are still 19 episodes left of the season. Hopefully the ratings and viewership stabilizes.
