The Pussycat Dolls released their sophomore album "Doll Domination" on September 16, 2008 and it has since been a major flop. First single, "When I Grow Up" was a huge success hitting the top 10 all across the world. Second single "Whatcha Think About That" was not the right single choice and was bumped from a single release to a digital release.
PCD than chose the midtempo ballad "I Hate This Part" as the official second single and it has been climbing up the chart very slowly since it's release in October.
The Dolls have decided that they must release a big uptempo hiphop track to gain their popularity back. They have decided on the track "Bottle Pop" which features Snoop Dogg. "Bottle Pop" will impact radio on January 4, 2009 with a video to follow. Letting "I Hate This Part" have its time in the spotlight during the holidays.
Let's hope this single does better than the last two.
