Missy Elliott's seventh studio album, "Block Party" was to be released back in 2007. It than was pushed back to June 2008, than again August 2008, than once again October 2008. The album was than again pushed back until November 25, 2008 but both Missy Elliott and her label were still not happy with the final outcome.
"Block Party" has now been delayed until January 9, 2009. There has been rumours that Missy has delayed the album because she wants to have a joint tour with Timbaland in the summer who has his "Shock Value 2" out on February 14, 2009.
