The Cleaveland Show Delayed to Fall 2009

Cleveland will rock, just not as soon as people had hoped. Fox today announced that it has pushed the debut of Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show back to fall 2009.

The Cleveland Show was originally scheduled for a spring debut, but a lengthy production schedule for the animated show has forced Fox to opt for a more realistic start date.

But it wasn't all bad news. With word of the show's delay also came word that The Cleveland Show is set for a lengthy debut. Fox ordered a full season of the comedy, granting it 22 episodes right out of the gate.

The Cleveland Show focuses on Peter Griffin's buddy Cleveland Brown as he moves to Virginia with his high school sweetheart, his son, and his sweetheart's two kids. His new neighborhood includes a wannabe hipster, a redneck, and a family of talking bears. Hilarity will most certainly ensue.
