The album, split between material credited to Beyonce and her new alter-ego Sasha Fierce, has already spawned the hits "If I Were a Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)." Beyonce's 2003 solo debut, "Dangerously in Love," started with 317,000, while 2006's "B-Day" moved 541,000.

Madonna Has Wrapped NA Part Of Tour

Madonna wrapped the North American leg of her "Sticky & Sweet Tour" yesterday night, November 26 in front of 50,000 people at Dolphin Stadium in Miami.

The 28 dates in North America have grossed about $91.5 million and moved about 550,000 tickets, according to tour producer Arthur Fogel, chairman of global music for Live Nation.

The next stop is Mexico City, where the Tour performs beginning November 29.

Counting her European run, Madonna is currently at about $207.5 million in ticket sales and on a pace to hit about $282 million when Mexico/South America wraps.
That would make Sticky & Sweet the top-grossing tour ever by a female artist or solo artist.

The tour wraps December 21 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Keri Is "Turnin Me On" With New Single

Keri Hilson's debut album was recently pushed back until January 2009 but that hasn't stopped her from releasing another single, a third single to be exact.

Keri Hilson has chosen my personal favourite out of all the demo tracks that have leaked in the last year. "Turnin Me On" featuring. Lil Wayne is the third single off "In A Perfect World..."

"Turnin Me On" will go to radio on November 25, 2008. The video premiered on November 20, 2008.

After first single, "Energy" not doing as good as it should have Keri released the umptempo "Return The Favour" with Timbaland but that song didnt prove to be a winning choice either. I really hope "Turnin Me On" becomes the hit she deserves because the track is hot! I love it!

Sugababes 2 Release "No Can Do"

Sugababes released their sixth studio album "Catfights & Spotlights" back in October 2008. First single "Girls" was a hit in Europe and Asia. The album has no North American release date yet but they won't let that affect them.

Sugababes have chosen the fan-favourite "No Can Do" as the second official single. "No Can Do" will be sent to European radio on December 12, 2008. The video premiered on their official website on November 18, 2008.

The maxi-single will be released on December 22, 2008, the track listing includes the following:

01. WAWA Club Mix
02. WAWA Radio Edit
03. Bimbo Jones Club Mix
04. Bimbo Jones Radio Edit
05. Mowgli Club Mix
06. Mowgli Radio Edit

Beyonce Is In "Diva" Mode 4 Next Single

Beyonce's third studio album "I Am...Sasha Fierce" was released less than a week ago and she is already prepared for the third single.

First single, "If I Were A Boy" was released in September 2008, second single, "Single Ladies [Put A Ring On It]" was just released to Pop radio on November 14, 2008, after having a successful run on Urban radio.

Beyonce is currently shooting the music video for her next single "Diva." "Diva" will be sent to radio on January 10, 2009. The video will premiere sometime in January 2009.

I am really looking forward to this music video because I love the song a lot. This track is no way any better than her tracks "Halo" and "Radio" but we will wait and see if those are released next.

NoDoubt Ready 4 Tour/Album in 2009

No Doubt will return to the road in 2009 while it finishes its first studio album in seven years. The group made the announcement via an instant message transcript posted on its official Web site, but did not provide specific details.

"I have cabin fever. Maybe we should play some shows or something," guitarist Tom Dumont wrote. Vocalist Gwen Stefani answered, "I think we should go out now. I don't think we should wait. Pack up the babies and get a bunch of nannies. So fun! Would be so inspiring to get out there and play all those songs again."

The group then discusses how continuing to write new music on the road would be inspiring, and vows to alert management to its plans.

No Doubt has been in the studio on and off throughout 2008. But Stefani's participation has been limited of late, having given birth to her second son in late August.

"South Park" Will Finish Off With A Movie

When the time comes to close the door on the hit animated series "South Park", creator Trey Parker tells The Los Angeles Times that they may do it with another feature film.

"We talked about maybe some day doing a movie to sort of end it all, and that seems like the best idea. That's been a big thought to do the last show as a movie" says Parker.

He admits that we've already seen many of the ideas they had been saving for the movie last year. "We came up with this pretty good idea for a movie, and then of course what happened was we got in the middle of a South Park run, and were completely out of ideas and we were like, well, we've got to use the movie idea. And that became [the three-part episode] 'Imaginationland.'"

As of now though there's no end planned for the TV show incarnation currently in its twelfth season. The previous film was 1999's "South Park: Bigger, Louder, & Uncut" which became famous for its foul language and memorable musical numbers including the Oscar-nominated "Blame Canada."

ABC Making Huge Changes To Their Lineup

ABC has decided on some big changes to their lineup.

Three major shows that premiered during the 2007 writers strike will be canceled by Christmas. "Eli Stone," "Dirty Sexy Money" and "Pushing Daisies" have all been terminated.

Some changes will also be made mid-season to the current schedule.

Spinoff "Private Practice" will be moved from their 9 p.m. Wednesday timeslot and will be sent to Thursday at 10 p.m. after "Grey's Anatomy." "Practice" will be moved to Thursday mid-December as an attempt to boost ratings since its lackluster viewership of Season 2 which premiered in October.

And starting January, "Scrubs" will join the network's Tuesday lineup and "Life on Mars" will be moved to Wednesdays in place of "Private Practice."

The only big shows that haven't been moved are "Desperate Housewives" and "Ugly Betty" which are actually still doing great in their fifth and third seasons.

"Beauty & The Beast" Goes 3-D

"Beauty and the Beast" producer Don Hahn and directors Kirk Wise and Gary Trousdale are giving the 1991 Disney animated classic a Digital 3D makeover.

The project, Disney's eleventh 3-D feature, will use the film's original computer files to create a new Disney digital 3-D version.

Re-rendering the film is expected to take 10 months and will be handled in-house at Walt Disney Feature Animation.

A 2010 release is expected. My sister and I should definately go see this when it comes out because her and I used to watch this everyday when we first got the original on VHS! It was our favourite Disney movie.

Rihanna Is Making Music History

Rihanna released her eigth single "Rehab" from her third studio album "Good Girl Gone Bad" in November 2008. The debut of "Rehab" on the Hot 100 at No. 91 gives Rihanna her eighth hit from her "Good Girl Gone Bad" album. That's the highest number of actively promoted singles any artist has extracted from one album since Shania Twain had eight hits from "Come On Over" from 1997-1999.

Rihanna's eight hits have arrived a little faster, in one year and seven months, the time elapsed between the debut of "Umbrella" in April 2007 and this week's arrival of "Rehab."

Here is a summary of Rihanna's eight charting tracks from "Good Girl Gone Bad," in chronological order:

"Umbrella," No. 1 for seven weeks (2007) [Rihanna featuring Jay-Z]
"Shut Up and Drive," No. 15 (2007)
"Hate That I Love You," No. 7 (2007) [Rihanna featuring Ne-Yo]
"Don't Stop the Music," No. 3 (2008)
"Take a Bow," No. 1 for one week (2008)
"If I Never See Your Face Again," No. 51 (2008) [Maroon 5 featuring Rihanna]
"Disturbia," No. 1 for two weeks (2008)
"Rehab," No. 91 to date (2008)
