Michelle Williams Re-Releases Album Twice
Michelle Williams released her third studio album, "Unexpected" in October 2008 and has since released three singles. She released "We Break The Dawn", "The Greatest" and "Hello Heartbreak."
She is set to re-release "Unexpected" this spring as a 2-disc album which would be released outside of the U.S. Hopefully it is released in Canada because I have not picked up the album yet, and a re-release would be worth the wait. The re-release will be titled "The Platinum Edition" and will include 5 new songs as well as new versions of "Hungover" and "Private Party." The second disc will feature rare remixes, leftover tracks and a ballad version of her dance hit "Hello Heartbreak" featuring John Legend.
The first single from the re-release (fourth overall) will be the fan favourite "Hungover" which will go to radio on April 12, 2009 with a video near the end of April.
With the re-release being released everywhere but the U.S. she has confirmed that she is currently putting the finishing touches on a remixed version of "Unexpected" that will be released in the spring. Michelle has also stated that the remix album will not contain any remixes that have previously been heard or released and will include some of the new songs that the other countries will be getting on the platinum edition.
Neither albums have a release date as of yet but a May/June release seems right.
