The second season premiered to nearly four million viewers which is up from its series premiere and season one finale. The season has been hovering around 2.5 and three million viewers and has been steadily climbing with every new episode.
Jessica Lange is once again set to star in the third season. No word on who she will be playing as every season is set in a different era. The third season will once again go into production in the summer and premiere in the Fall of 2013 with another 13 episodes.

Episode 02 - Tricks and Treats - October 24 - 3.06 million viewers
Episode 03 - Nor'Easter - October 31 - 2.47 million viewers
Episode 04 - I Am Anne Frank (Part 1) - November 7 - 2.65 million viewers
Episode 05 - I Am Anne Frank (Part 2) - November 14 - 2.78 million viewers
'American Horror Story: Asylum' will end its run with the season finale on Wednesday, January 23. It will run through to December 12 with a two week break and showing the final four episodes from January 2-23.
