AMC & Netflix Revive 'The Killing'

AMC canceled their drama series, 'The Killing' back in July 2012 after two lackluster seasons in the ratings.

The past three months FOX TV Studios have been trying to sell the series to other networks and Netflix bought the rights for a third season. The showrunner Veena Sud delivered a third season pitch that was good enough that AMC and Netflix will spit the costs for the season's budget.

Both main cast members, Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman have already signed on for a third season and shooting will begin in Vancouver in February 2013.

The series was quite good but had a very slow-burn pace that turned off many viewers. As well Veena Sud made the series about one police case that lasted 26 episodes. It took viewers two years, two seasons and 26 episodes to find out who really killed Rosie Larsen and that turned out to be deadly for the show.
