Santogold has announced plans for her first headlining North American tour in support of her self-titled album released on April 29, 2008.
Dubbed ‘The Goldrush Tour’ and presented by MySpace Music, the dates kick off in New York on September 19 at the Fillmore and wrap up in Los Angeles on October 14 at The Wiltern.
The shows will feature Santogold backed by a full band and live DJ. Kanye West's DJ A-Trak will open for Santogold from September 23 to September 27.
The set list for "The Goldrush Tour" has not been officially announced yet but I am guessing that probably all 11 tracks from her album will be on the list including some other tracks and possibly some covers.
The only Canadian date is in Toronto at The Guvernment on September 24, 2008 and I am privlidged enough to have tickets and I am so excited and cannot wait. Only 11 days left!
