Here is what has happened in the Mariah Carey "E=MC2" world in the last month:
- "I'm That Chick" was to be released as the 4th single, than it was canceled - "Migrate" was chosen as the 4th single, than it was also canceled - Both singles were canceled because "The Ballads" album was to be released in November 2008 - Now "I Stay In Love" has been chosen as the 4th single
Only time will tell if "I Stay In Love" will actually be released as a single. So far it states that October 21, 2008 will be the radio/digital release date.
Madonna/Warner Brothers have decided to release the fan favourite "Miles Away" as the third official single from "Hard Candy".
"Miles Away" was released today, September 29, 2008 to North American radio. It will be released on October 7, 2008 digitally. It is unknown whether or not there will be an official video to accompany the single's release worldwide, but it has been rumored that there might not be one.
So far I am completely happy with all the singles released from "Hard Candy". Most likely there will only be one more single released because Madonna has an untitled Greatest Hits collection coming out in 2009.
If they decided to release any other singles from "Hard Candy" I feel "Heartbeat" and "Beat Goes On" would be great single choices. It would be even more amazing if they released both these songs next.

Britney Spears brand new single 'Womanizer' from her sixth studio album 'Cicrus' was to be released to radio today, September 22, 2008 but has since been delayed one week. It will not be allowed on radio until September 29, 2008.
On Monday at 7:35 am the new single 'womanizer' was to premiere on North American radio, That was the plan! But shortly before the worldwide premiere on radio, SonyBMG called the radio stations and stopped the single from being played. Britney Spears is allegedly still in the studio finishing up some last minute touches on the track.
SonyBMG are blaming the "demo leak" of the single by a radio station on Friday as well as a deadline not being met by the producers of the track. Currently media does not have access to the single because the single needs some more mixing and editing.
I think the reason it has been delayed is because the track sucks and they realized that this may be Britney's last chance to redeem herself, so they need a really kick ass single.
Here are the release dates for "Womanizer":

Christina Aguilera is set to release her Greatest Hits collection entitled "Keeps Gettin Better: A Decade of Hits" on November 11, 2008. The lead single "Keeps Gettin Better" impacted radio on September 8, 2008 and its video will premiere at the very end of September, early October.
The official track listing for "Keeps Gettin Better" was just released and it includes all her biggest hits, but only has 12 tracks, two of them are brand new. There are four tracks that I thought for sure were gonna be on the CD but were left off because they weren't huge hits.
01 - "Genie in a Bottle" (New Version) 02 - What a Girl Wants" 03 - "Come on Over Baby (All I Want Is You)" 04 - "Lady Marmalade" (New Version) 05 - "Dirrty" featuring Redman 06 - "Beautiful" (New Version) 07 - "Fighter" 08 - "Ain't No Other Man" 09 - "Hurt" 10 - "Candyman" 11 - "Keeps Gettin' Better" 12 - "Dynamite"
The four tracks that I cannot believe are not on the album are:
- 'Reflection' which was her first single and was released in 1998 which would make this album not a decade of hits because it only has tracks from 9 years with the omission of 'Reflection'. - 'I Turn To You' which was the only ballad from her debut album and it reached #2 which is higher than other tracks on the collection such as 'Dirrty', 'Candyman' and 'Hurt'. - 'Can't Hold Us Down' - 'The Voice Within'
I knew that the other tracks such as her spanish language singles, her featured artist singles and the overseas singles 'Oh Mother' and 'Slow Down Baby' were not going to be released.
Let's hope that the DVD collection of her videos include all her videos and not a select few like they did with Destiny's Child and Aaliyah.
Britney Spears has recorded over 30 tracks for her sixth studio album 'Circus' which comes out on December 2, 2008. The first single 'Womanizer' is set to impact radio and digital stores tomorrow, September 22, 2008.
Britney explains, "I wanted to experiment with producers I havent worked with much before."
Let's hope the new album is just as good as 'Blackout'.

Earlier this month I spoke about Mariah Carey releasing an album containing all her biggest ballads from the 1990s. It was to be entitled "Love Songs" and to be released on January 20, 2009.
Well those plans were scrapped and it has been pushed forward to October 20, 2008 and will now be called "The Ballads".
The reason for the rush release is because her latest album "E=MC2" has not done as well as expected and they have decided not to release "Migrate" anymore. It was to be released at the end of September 2008 but they are done with "E=MC2". Now with a big window open for Fall 2008 why not release the Ballads album now so it can compete for Christmas. This album will most likely do very well because everyone loves Mariah Carey's ballads from the 1990s and now they are all on one CD, a perfect Christmas present!
Here is the official tracklisting for "The Ballads":
1. Hero/93 2. Vision Of Love/90 3. Without You/93 4. Always Be My Baby/95 5. My All/97 6. How Much [With. Usher]/99 7. Dreamlover/93 8. Thank God I Found You [With. Nas and Joe]/99 9. The Roof/97 10. One Sweet Day [With. Boyz II Men]/95 11. Anytime You Need A Friend/93 12. I'll Be There [With. Trey Lorenz]/92 13. I Still Believe/98 14. Reflections [Care Enough]/01 15. Open Arms/95 16. Against All Odds [With. Westlife]/99 17. Endless Love [With. Luther Vandross]/94 18. All I Want For Christmas [Is You]/94
Comedian Margaret Cho premiered her reality TV show "The Cho Show" back on August 21, 2008. Since than there have been four episodes.
Well if you thought being a comedian, reality star, TV star, Movie star was enough, you can add singer to the long list. Margaret premiered her first single "I Cho Am A Woman" today, September 17, 2008 which is set to be released digitally on September 19, 2008. Cho's debut album is set to be released in early 2009.
I have heard the track, and it's not that bad! Long live Margaret Cho! She is amazing!
Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes, one-third of mega-successful group TLC will have a tribute album released on November 11, 2008.
The album entitled "Eye Legacy" will feature artists Tupac Shakur, Lil Mama, Chamillionaire, Missy Elliott, TLC, Wanya Morris Of Boyz II Men, and Left Eye's sister, Reigndrop Lopes and some more who are still finalizing tracks.
The tracks will feature some of the tracks that Left Eye was working on for a solo project before her death in 2002.
M.I.A has expressed interest in owning her own record label since the release of "Kala" back in August 2007. She wanted to sign artists just like her and sign artists from around the world and artists who were featured on her albums.
A year has passed and finally her very own record label has now been developed. "N.E.E.T. Records" is now an actual record label owned and operated by M.I.A. as of September 2008.
So far she has signed two artists who have worked with her. The first "Afrikan Boy" who was featured on her brilliant track "Hussel" and the second artist "Rye Rye" which was featured on a remix of "Paper Planes".
M.I.A. has decided to release a limited edition fashion line. Some of the designs were available at her "People VS. Money" Tour this past year in support of her sophomore album "Kala".
The fashion line is called "Okley Run" and is exclusiveluy available on her official website "MIAUK.COM" and at Opening Ceremony in NYC and LA.
M.I.A.'s collection includes t-shirts, tank tops, hoodies, leggings and sweatshirts in bright prints and bold patterns. The collextion is actually pretty cute but very pricey. Sweatshirts and hoodies are going for $210 and $180 and plain cotton t-shirts with her logo are $75 and tank tops are $65.
You can go to "MIAUK.com" to check out the entire location but I will show some of my favourite items. Christmas is coming soon, I know what I want!
The Pussycat Dolls are set to release thier sophomore album "Doll Domination" next week on September 23, 2008. The world tour is already shapping up for 2009.
The world tour in support of "Doll Domination" is set for a January 27, 2009 start in Paris, France. The world tour starts in Europe and by the end of February 2009stops in Asia and Australia.
The Pussycat Dolls will than visit North and South America in the Spring. The Dolls were hoping to have Ne-Yo on the tour but plans fell through. Instead they are hoping to have Missy Elliott on the tour.
Melody Thornton recently stated on the set of her second single "Whatcha Think About That" which features Missy Elliott, that Missy approached them to join them on their tour. Missy's album "Block Party" won't be coming out until November 2008 so the timing is perfect.
The Big Brother 10 Finale was last night and Dan became the 10th winner of Big Brother. The jury members felt Dan was the better player and should win [I could not agree more]. Dan had to make all the moves and did all the dirty work. Memphis didn't even win one Head of Household and slid all the way to the finale. Dan won by a Jury vote of 7/0. Dan and Memphis were in the house for 71 Days.
Lily Allen has penciled in a February 9, 2009, release date for her sophomore album "Stuck On The Naughty Step". Last month Allen wrote on her MySpace page that the album was finished but being held up by drama at EMI in the wake of its buyout by private equity firm Terra Firma.
Billboard has heard 10 tracks from the record, again produced by Greg Kurstin, and Allen sounds as lyrically confident as ever. Songs such as "Everyone's At It" and "I Don't Know" showcase a more electronic sound, with the latter song dissecting the artist's tabloid infamy.
On her MySpace blog, Allen promises "there will be bits and bobs flying around" prior to street date, including a viral video for an unnamed song. At present, she's in the studio "working on extra stuff" to augment the new album.
"I am trying really hard to do this album with integrity and I want you all to know that it has been thought about by me, not just some thrown together last minute industry bullshizz," she says.
The new album is the follow-up to 2007's "Alright Still," which has sold 514,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

P!nk's 5th studio album "Funhouse" will be released on October 28, 2008. Lead single "So What" was released on August 19, 2008 and has so far hit the Top 3 in many countries including the US and Canada.
Here are the following tracks that have been confirmed by BMI [Broadcast Music Inc.]:

The Mariah Carey Gods have answered my prayers. They have really chose wisely when thinking of a 4th single.
Originally it was announced that "I'm That Chick" was to be released as the 4th official single this Fall. Mariah even perfomed the track at "Fashion Rocks" and the "Canadian Idol Finale" this past month.
Well, her label have decided to release the much more urban, dance track "Migrate" featuring. T-Pain. "Migrate" is the opening track to the album "E=MC2" and it really is one of the standout tracks of the bunch.
"Migrate" is to be released to radio on September 30, 2008 and a digital release on Cotboer 1, 2008. The video is currently being filmed and will be released on October 11, 2008.
Let's hope this brings Mariah her 19th #1 because "Bye Bye" and "I'll Be Lovin U Long Time" were sad excuses for singles.
