Missy Elliott will be returning to the Hip Hop scene on September 9, 2008 with her 7th studio album 'Block Party'.
The first single 'Best, Best' has just been released today, June 13, 2008. The track is a hot summer sizzler! It is yet again, a big change from the cameleon of Hip Hop. She is one of the most diverse female performers out there and this track proves it! Missy has decided on a cool R&B style track which was produced by Danja, the man behind Britney's 'Gimme More'.
'Best, Best' is the first official single from the oft-delayed 'Block Party' which was originally due back in October 2007, May 2008 and even on Billboard's official website with August 26, 2008 still be the official release date, even though Missy's official website insists it will be released on September 9, 2008.
Two other singles 'Ching-A-Ling' and 'Shake Your Pom Pom' were first present on the 'Step Up 2: The Streets Soundtrack' and will be available on 'Block Party'.
