FOX has officially canceled freshman animation comedy 'Allen Gregory.' It aired its seventh episode, which is now the series finale on December 18, 2011.The series started out on rocky ground when it premiered on October 30, 2011 and has since not been able to pull in new viewers. The final nail-in-the-coffin was putting its series finale on a night when all other animation shows were reruns.
While this show is canceled, FOX has already signed a new deal with Jonah Hill for a live action comedy for the 2012/2013 TV season.
