Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' Still Going Strong

Radiohead released their studio album 'In Rainbows' on December 31, 2007 and has since spawned off two singles with a third on it's way. A promotional single was released to promote the album. The song was 'Weird Fishes/Arpeggi', a video was released but was not the lead single.

The first single 'Jigsaw Falling Into Place' was released in January 2008, followed by second single 'Nude' which was released in April 2008.

The third official single was just released this week in July 2008. The song is 'House Of Cards' and the music video features clips of band members faces interspersed with images of suburban landscapes. In lieu of traditional cameras, the band chose to record the scenes with lasers that detect the distance of objects and record the data. This gives the video its unusual grainy and grid-like appearance. The band was also able to distort the array of dots that these sensors produced, creating scenes where the image is distorted, partially disappears, or beings to drift away as if being carried by the wind.

A second promotional single that will promote 'House of Cards' will be the fan favourite 'Bodysnatchers'. 'Bodysnatchers' will be the a-side to 'House of Cards' and will be released to radio but no video is currently planned.
