'300' Sequel On It's Way

Legendary Pictures has confirmed it is developing a "300" follow-up for Warner Bros. that Frank Miller is writing and Zack Snyder is intending to direct.

Word first broke last week during an interview with Snyder by that 'slave to the music' Steve Weintraub over at Collider. The site learned from Snyder that original "300" author Frank Miller was penning a follow-up graphic novel and when its complete he will look at it and see if it's adaptable.

While talk of a "300" sequel had long been running around, this was the first confirmation that anything actually was in development. The trade paper oddly didn't acknowledge the original scooper, only citing 'online sources', but they did contact Legendary Pictures head Thomas Tull who says "We want to be certain that the story originates with Frank and be as compelling as the first."
