Annie a pop artist and DJ from Norway is releasing her new single from her as-yet-untitled sophomore album in the summer and the first single is titled "Girlfriend."
"Girlfriend" will go to radio on March 27, 2008 the video was just finished and will premiere late April 2008.
She first earned recognition in 1999, when her single "The Greatest Hit", which samples Madonna's "Everybody", became an underground club hit in Norway and Britain.
Annie released her debut album back in 2004 called "Anniemal" and it spawned off four great singles, "Chewing Gum," "Heartbeat," "Always Too Late" and "Me Plus One."
Since than she released a DJ mix album titled "DJ Kicks - Annie" in 2005 and it was released with only one single titled "Wedding."
