MTV has renewed its supernatural teen drama 'Teen Wolf' starring Tyler Posey and Crystal Reed for a third season.
'Teen Wolf' has been a huge hit for MTV. The season two premiere was watched by over two million people. The first seven episodes have been hovering around 1.5-2 million viewers which is more than any other MTV series currently on the air.
MTV has renewed the series for a supersized 24 episodes which is a big jump from the previous two 12 episode seasons.
Here is the break down of the last five aired episodes:
Episode 03 - Ice Pick - June 11 - 1.76 million viewers
Episode 04 - Abomination - June 18 - 1.69 million viewers
Episode 05 - Venomous - June 25 - 1.65 million viewers
Episode 06 - Frenemy - July 2 - 1.64 million viewers
Episode 07 - Restraint - July 9 - 1.72 million viewers
The season finale, 'Master Plan' will air on August 12, 2012.
