HBO has renewed its freshman dramedy 'Girls' starring Lena Dunham and Allison WIlliams for a second season.
'Girls' has been a pretty good hit for HBO, it's series premiere was watched by over 870 thousand viewers. With a weeks worth of DVR and HBO Go 'Girls' had over 1.4 million viewers.
As any new show, the series declined in viewership but has stablilzed and has kept between 600 - 800 thousand viewers. HBO has renewed the series for another 10 episodes which will air in the spring of 2013.
Here is the break down of the already aired episodes:
Episode 01 - Pilot - April 15 - 0.87 million viewers
Episode 02 - Vagina Panic - April 22 - 0.86 million viewers
Episode 03 - All Adventurous Women Do - April 29 - 0.82 million viewers
The season finale, 'She Did' Episode 10 will air on June 17.
