FOX Renewed 'Raising Hope'

FOX has renewed its sophomore comedy 'Raising Hope' starring Martha Plimpton and Cloris Leachman for a third season.

This comes as a shock but nice surprise to the fans of the show. 'Raising Hope' has been a minor hit for FOX, it's second season premiere was watched by over six million viewers. Since its premiere in late September the viewership for 'Raising Hope' has been declining from six million to now the most recent episode three million. Just recently the series has seen a decline in viewership with the last five episodes but that can be blamed on its new timeslot. In March 2012 'Raising Hope' was moved from its 9:30pm timeslot after 'New Girl' to 8pm and is being used as an anchor for TV on Tuesday nights. The series is not strong enough yet to anchor a night, hopefully next season the series will be back in its original 9:30pm timeslot.

Here is the break down of the five last aired episodes:
Episode 16 - Single White Female Role Model - March 6 - 4.74 million viewers
Episode 17 - Spanks Butt, No Spanks - March 13 - 4.31 million viewers
Episode 18 - Poking Holes in the Story - March 20 - 3.78 million viewers
Episode 19 - Hogging All the Glory - March 27 - 3.81 million viewers
Episode 20 - Sabrina's New Jimmy - April 3 - 3.93 million viewers
