ABC Cancels 'The Revolution'

ABC has canceled its day-time lifestyle talk show, 'The Revolution' with co-hosts Ty Pennington and Tim Gunn after only one season.

'The Revolution' premiered on January 16, 2012 as a replacement for the long-running soap opera, 'One Life to Live.' Unlike other ABC talk shows like, 'Live With Kelly,' 'The View' and 'The Chew,' 'Revolution' was never a ratings winner and viewership never rose from the premiere.

On April 11, ABC announced they would be canceling the talk show but renew the soap opera, 'General Hospital.' 'The Revolution' had attracted an average audience of around one million a week, which is approximately half the audience 'One Life to Live' was bringing in the fall of 2011.

The final episode of 'The Revolution' will be on July 6, 2012.
