FOX Cancels 'Terra Nova'

FOX has officially canceled freshman prehistoric series 'Terra Nova.' It aired its final episode on December 19, 2011.

The series started out on rocky ground when it premiered on September 26, 2011 and was not able to pull in more than 10 million viewers. The pilot cost nearly $20 million dollars and subsequent episodes that followed were made with $8-$10 million dollars. When the season ended in December only seven million viewrs stayed with the show.

While this show is canceled on FOX, Twenthieth Century Fox Television is now currently shopping the series to other networks. The only channel I see it moving to would be Syfy, however Syfy is a specialty channel which could not handle the budget the series needs.

Here is a breakdown of the last three episodes:

11 - Within - December 12, 2011 - 6.88 million viewers
12 - Occupation - December 19, 2011 - 7.24 million viewers
13 - Resistance (Series Finale) - December 19, 2011 - 7.24 million viewers
