Dev Finally Releases Debut Album

Dev is finally ready to release her debut album, 'The Night the Sun Came Up' in North America.

'The Night the Sun Came Up' was originally released in September 2011 in most of Europe while her second single, 'In The Dark' was released. It was intended to be released in North America then too but when Dev announced her pregnancy, her label decided to delay the album until she had the baby.

The debut album was finally released in her native home land this past week on March 27. The album includes 10 tracks from the European version but will also have two new tracks, 'Naked' featuring Enrique Iglesias (the third single) and 'Don't Hurt It' featuring Timbaland. The album will also feature a remix of 'Kiss My Lips' featuring Fabolous.

The original first single, 'Bass Down Low' featuring The Cataracs, 'Booty Bounce' (her debut single) and 'Killer' will no longer be on the album but will be included as a bonus tracks. Most likely because the singles are nearly two years old.
