CBS Renews 'Survivor' For 2 Cycles

CBS has renewed its veteran competition series 'Survivor' starring Jeff Probst for two more seasons bringing it to an incredible 26th cycle.

The verteran show that debuted in 2000 has been a huge hit for CBS over the years. The last few cycles have kept the ratings steady around a 3.0 and total viewers around 11-13 million. Cycle 24 will premiere on February 15. The 25th and 26th cycles will be presented in the 2012/2013 TV season. 

In its 23rd season, 'Survivor' continues to be a stong ratings performer, currently ranking as the #2 reality series on television in adults 18-49. This fall's 'Survivor: South Pacific' is averaging 12.27 million viewers, 3.8 in adults 18-49 and 5.1 in adults 25-54.

01 - I Need Redemption - 3.4 rating - 10.74 million viewers
02 - He Has Demons - 3.2 rating - 10.45 million viewers
03 - Reap What You Sow - 3.2 rating - 10.71 million viewers
04 - Survivalism - 3.1 rating - 10.72 million viewers
05 - Taste the Victory - 3.2 rating - 10.69 million viewers
06 - Free Agent - 3.3 rating - 11.24 million viewers
07 - Trojan Horse - 3.5 rating - 11.79 million viewers
08 - Double Agent - 3.6 rating - 11.95 million viewers
09 - Cut Throat - 3.2 rating - 10.80 million viewers
10 - Running the Show - 3.3 rating - 11.66 million viewers
