'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' joined 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides' and 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2' in the $1 billion worldwide club. This marked the first time in history that three movies from the same year, much less the same season, all reached that mark.
