Ciara Finally Chooses Lead Single
Ciara has been having no luck with her third studio album, "Fantasy Ride." Originally it was to be released in December 2008 and than was pushed back to the first quarter of 2009 with no release date.
She than released her first single "High Price" which was quickly changed to "Go Girl." "Go Girl" was released in September 2008 and became unsuccessful on pop and R&B charts.
Her label has now decided that "Go Girl" was only a promo/buzz single to get her fans excited for her new album. It's called a promo/buzz single because it was unsuccessful just like The Pussycat Dolls single "Whatcha Think About That", Missy Elliott's "Best Best" and Lindsay Lohan's "Bossy." All those songs were official singles but were than down-graded to "promo" because they werent successful.
Well, her label and Ciara have decided that "Never, Ever" will be the official lead single. "Never, Ever" features Young Jeezy and will be released on January 5, 2009. The video will premiere sometime in January 2009.
