Madonna's third greatest hits record is to be released by Warner Brothers during the first quarter of next year, which means January - March 2009.
Madonna'a contract with Warner Brothers is now over and it's traditional that labels cash in on such a departure by releasing a greatest hits collection.
Her last collection was released in 2001. Madonna has since released three more albums, "American Life", "Confessions on a Dance Floor" and "Hard Candy". Since 2001 she has released 12 singles with another one or two on its way.
