"Dexter" Back For 2 More Seasons

It's the best show on cable and arguably the best show on TV right now, and the good news is its life has just been extended.

Showtime has renewed top-rated drama series "Dexter" for two more seasons. The network has ordered twelve episodes each for Seasons Four and Five, with the fourth season set to go into production in the spring in Los Angeles to air next Fall.

"Dexter" stars Michael C. Hall as a complicated and conflicted blood-spatter expert for the Miami police department who moonlights as a serial killer.

The acclaimed series is currently a third of the way through its third season and a Blu-ray version of the first season is scheduled to hit in January.
