NBC has canceled the sophomore comedy, 'Up All Night' starring Christina Applegate, Will Arnett and Maya Rudolph after two drama filled seasons.
The season two premiered to just over three million viewers which is on par with the rest of the comedy series on NBC. However, the remaining episodes fell to new lows and limped to the finish line with under two million viewers.
Here is a list of the last-five aired episodes:
07 - Thanksgiving - November 15 - 3.10 million viewers
08 - The Game of Life - November 29 - 2.97 million viewers
09 - I Can't Quit You - December 6 - 2.92 million viewers
10 - First Snow - December 13 - 2.87 million viewers
11 - The Wedding (Series Finale) - December 13 - 2.68 million viewers
'Up All Night' was originally given three additional episodes, bringing the total to 16 episodes and the show was to change from single camera format to multi camera format. Additionally, during the hiatus Christina Applegate decided to part ways with the series and it was rumoured that Lisa Kudrow was to be cast in her place. NBC decided to cancel the series instead and let the stars of the show seek other opportunities.
