Goldfrapp 2 Release 'Melancholy Sky'

Goldfrapp will release their second single of two new tracks from their best of collection, 'Th Singles.'


The first single, 'Yellow Halo' was released last month along with a video. The second single, 'Melancholy Sky' will be released next. 'Sky' will be sent to UK radio on February 20. As of now their is no music video being commissioned. 


'The Singles' collection serves as their final record with EMI. Goldfrapp signed a contrack in 1999 for six albums, with the five studio albums and this hits collection, Goldfrapp can now move on to another label.

Goldfrapp 2 Release 'Yellow Halo'

Goldfrapp is set to release their retrospective collection called, 'The Singles' on February 6, 2012.


The best of collection includes 12 of their past hits from the past decade as well as two new singles. The first single is titled, 'Yellow Halo' and will be released on January 23.


The music video for 'Yellow Halo' will premiere of their website on January 26. 

Goldfrapp 2 Release 'The Singles'

Goldfrapp is set to release their career retrospective, 'The Singles' on Febraury 6 in the UK and a day later in North America.

'The Singles' will feature hits from the past 12 years and all five studio albums, 2000's 'Felt Mountain,' 2003's 'Black Cherry,' 2005's 'Supernature,' 2008's 'Seventh Tree' and 2010's 'Head First.'

The collection will include two new singles, 'Yellow Halo' which will be released first and 'Meloncholy Sky' to follow nexy year.

Goldfrapp 2 Release New Single

Goldfrapp is set to release a new single in support of the TV series 'The Vampire Diaries' new soundtrack.


The new track is titled, 'We Radiate' and will be the lead single from the soundtrack. The track is a silky uptempo synth track and will be a great addition to the Goldfrapp catalog.

Goldfrapp 2 Release 'Believer'

Goldfrapp is set to release their third single off their fifth studio album, 'Head First.'


The third single will be personal favourite, 'Believer.' The new single follows 'Rocket' and 'Alive.'


'Believer' will be released on September 5 while the music video should be out sometime in September. If they decide on a final single I really hope they choose 'I Wanna Life.'

Goldfrapp "Head First" Tour Set List

Goldfrapp are currently touring the world in support of their fifth studio album, "Head First."

Goldfrapp 2 Release "Alive"

Goldfrapp are set to release their second single off their fifth studio album, "Head First."


"Alive" has been chosen as the second single following "Rocket." "Alive" will be released digitally on May 24 with a music video to premiere in May. The new single is a great follow up single and a perfect track from Spring. 


I would hope Goldfrapp releases at least three more singles but EMI are notorious for releasing only four singles per album. If only two more tracks I hope "I Wanna Life" is the third single for the summer and "Believer" to follow in the Fall.
