NBC has canceled the freshman comedy, '1600 Penn' starring Jenna Elfman and Bill Pullman after one 13 episode season.
The series premiered to almost seven million viewers which is fantastic for a comedy series on NBC. However, the pilot was shown after 'The Voice' finale in December 2012. The next episode dropped to three million in viewership in January. The now series finale limped to the finish line and garnered just 1.91 million viewers which is incredibly pathetic for a series on network television.
Here is a list of the last-five aired episodes:
09 - Game Theory - March 14 - 2.23 million viewers
10 - The Short Happy Life of Reba Cadbury - March 21 - 2.49 million viewers
11 - Dinner, Bath, Puzzle - March 21 - 2.32 million viewers
12 - Bursting the Bubble - March 28 - 1.92 million viewers
13 - Marry Me, Baby (Series Finale) - March 28 - 1.91 million viewers
