ABC has cancelled its procedural drama series, 'Body of Proof' starring Dana Delany and Jeri Ryan after three seasons.
The series was going to be cancelled after the second season but after the last four episodes saw a huge increase in viewership, ABC gave it another chance. ABC retooled the series, let a few actors go and a added new actors and increased the suspense and violence, like other procedural's 'Criminal Minds.' The third season has been averaging eight-nine million viewers which makes it one of ABC's biggest drama series this TV series.

Here is a list of the last-five aired episodes:
07 - Skin and Bones - April 2 - 8.56 million viewers
08 - Doubting Tommy - April 9 - 8.98 million viewers
09 - Disappearing Act - April 16 - 8.94 million viewers
10 - Committed - April 23 - 9.35 million viewers
11 - Dark City - May 7 - 8.24 million viewers

Very surprised that ABC cancelled the series considering its ABC's biggest drama series in viewership this year. 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Scandal' have been averaging eight-nine million. 'Nashville,' 'Once Upon a Time,' and 'Revenge' have all averaged six-seven million so its very strange that ABC has cancelled the series. 'Body of Proof' is the biggest shock and my favourite show that has been cancelled this season.
