'Girls' Renewed By HBO

HBO has renewed its critically-acclaimed comedy, 'Girls' starring Lena Dunham for a third season.

The second season premiered to the same number of viewers as the first. The season has been hovering around 500,000 and 800,000 an episode. It comes as no shock to anyone after Lena Dunham won two Golden Globes, one for Lead Actress and one for Best Series.

Here is a list of the already-aired episodes:
Episode 01 - It's About Time - January 13 - 0.87 thousand viewers
Episode 02 - I Get Ideas - January 20 - 0.57 thousand viewers 


The 10-episode second season will wrap on March 17. The third season will premiere in January 2014 and will consist of 12 episodes instead of the usual 10.
