Katy Perry 2 Tie Jackson's Record

Katy Perry is riding high with her sophomore album, 'Teenage Dream' which was released back in August 2010.

'Teenage Dream' features five hit singles including 'California Girls,' 'Firework' and 'ET.'  Her most recent single, 'Last Friday Night (TGIF)' is currently number 4 on the Billboard 100. If she goes to number 1 she will be the first artist to tie Michael Jackson's record, which he set back in 1988 with his album, 'Bad.'

Michael Jackson's 'Bad' featured five number 1 singles including:
01 - I Just Can't Stop Loving You
02 - Bad
03 - The Way You Make Me Feel
04 - Man in the Mirror
05 - Dirty Diana

Currently, Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' features four number 1 singles including:
01 - California Girls
02 - Teenage Dream
03 - Firework
04 - ET
05 - Last Friday Night (TGIF) #4

In the next few weeks we will know if she does indeed tie his record. I hope she does because 'Last Friday Night (TGIF) is one of my fave tracks on the album. I feel like she might even be able to beat his record because there are a couple more tracks that could be released as singles.

She could release 'Peacock,' 'The One That Got Away' and 'Hummingbird Heartbeat' which could all top the charts. This album is full of hits and actually reads more like a greatest hits collection.
