The four brand new performers added to the line-up include P!nk who will perform her new single 'So What', Rihanna will perform her newest #1 single 'Disturbia', Paramore will perform 'Misery Business' and T.I. who will perform 'Whatever You Like'.
Here is the complete list of performers as of August 22, 2008:

There are rumours that Britney Spears will be back again this year to make up for her foolish performance last year as well as Jordin Sparks and Katy Perry.
Dido has slated a November 4, 2008 release date for her oft-delayed third album, "Safe Trip Home". Album track "Look No Further" is being made available as a free download as of August 22, 2008 from DidoMusic.com.
The proper single, "Don't Believe in Love," will be issued digitally and on CD on September 12, 2008.
Anastacia is ready to release her fourth studio album entitled 'Heavy Rotation' four years after her self-titled release which had the #1 single 'Left Outside Alone'.
'Heavy Rotation' is expected to have two different release dates just as her last three albums, one in Europe and another in North America. The European release date is October 27, 2008 and the North American release date is January 3, 2009. This means the North American release date will leave a gap of over five years between her third album and 'Heavy Rotation'.
The lead single will be 'I Can Feel You' which will go to radio/digital on September 2, 2008 in Europe. A North American single choice is still unknown. 'I Can Feel You' is an up-tempo, radio-friendly single which will no doubt be another huge hit for Anastacia in Europe.
This is very exciting! I love Anastacia and finally a new album is ready!
The first edition of merchandise for Madonna's upcoming 'Sticky & Sweet' Tour which starts this Saturday, August 23, 2008 has landed online.
So far only six T-Shirts and one Hoodie have made it's way onto the internet. The first T-Shirt comes in three different colours including Turquoise [pictured], Pink and Purple. By Saturday we will most likely receive all the other merchandise because of opening night.
Pink has christened her new album "Funhouse," and will release it October 28, 2008 via LaFace/Zomba. First single "So What" is No. 40 this week on Billboard's Pop 100 Airplay chart and No. 59 on the overall Pop 100.
It is expected to make a big jump onto the Hot 100 next week thanks to sales of its digital version, which became available yesterday. The "So What" video will debut on August 22, 2008 on MTV's "FNMTV."

'The Annie Lennox Collection' will be the first official "Best Of" compilation of Annie Lennox. It will be released on September 15, 2008 and will contain 12 hits and 2 new songs, which Lennox recorded especially for this release "Shining Light" and "Pattern of My Life", a cover of Keane's rare b-side "Closer Now", in which "pattern of my life" is a lyric. The artwork was shot by rock singer Bryan Adams.
Here is the track listing for 'The Annie Lennox Collection':

There will also be a CD/DVD edition of the album released on the same day including all her videos. The tracklist for the DVD will include almost all the above with the inclusion of videos for "Something So Right" and "Waiting In Vain" which were singles from her 'Medusa' album in 1995. The two new songs on the collection will not be supported with videos so they will not be on the DVD.
There is only one single that is not present on any part of the collection and that is the track 'Wonderful' which was released on her album 'Bare' in 2003.

'The Dark Knight' has just overtook the original 1977 "Star Wars" on the all time list with its $471.5 million total eclipsing the entire theatrical and re-release run tally of $461 million earned by the original "Star Wars".
"The Dark Knight" now stands at #2 on the all time domestic box-office grossing list behind only "Titanic" which has grossed $600 Million.
The big news though this weekend was Batman defeating George Lucas on two different counts. Coming in at #2 with $16.8 million, "The Dark Knight" beat the widely panned CG-animated "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" which came in at #3 with a decent $15.5 million.
The big-budget and very well-reviewed action-comedy "Tropic Thunder" finally pushed "The Dark Knight" out of the top spot with a $26 million Friday-Sunday gross and a $37 million five-day total.
The total was solid but not impressive, falling right in between the performance of recent R-rated comedies "Pineapple Express" and "Step Brothers". Yet both those films cost significantly less to produce than the $100+ million budget 'Thunder' which will need good word-of-mouth and overseas revenues to cover its expense.
The Kiefer Sutherland horror flick "Mirrors" came in fourth with a better than expected $11.1 million. Woody Allen's rom-com "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" opened on about 20% of the screens the other newcomers did this week, yet still managed tenth place with $3.7 million and the second best per theatre gross of the Top 20 with $5,361 per screen. The 3D flick "Fly Me to the Moon" scored little buzz with just $2 million.

As said last month, M.I.A's song 'Paper Planes' appears in a promo for the stoner flick 'Pineapple Express' and it's still burning up the charts!
'Paper Planes' has already been out six months, it was released back in March 2008 and it has jumped from number 55 to 36 on the Billboard Hot 100 back in July 2008.
Last week the track went from #36 to the #16 spot and this week it has raised to #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 as the chart's top digital gainer. The track sold more than 136,000 downloads last week.
This means this is officially M.I.A.'s first Top 10 and Top 5 hit in America!
'Pineapple Express' just came out last week, let's see if the song can reach any higher! Just imagine #1 spot next week, that would be insane, out of all the tracks she has released so far, 'Paper Planes' is by far her best work! Let's hope!!
Britney Spears says her next Jive album will be out in between six and nine months and that "I think it is more urban," she says in an interview with OK! Magazine. "I'm writing every day, right here at the piano in this living room. This is my best work ever."
Last month, Jive said Spears was working "with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters" that it did not name, but JR Rotem, Sean Garrett, Guy Sigsworth, Danja and Bloodshy & Avant have all independently revealed that they're contributing to the as-yet-untitled project.
This means the album will not be out December 2008 as expected but either February 2009 or May 2009.
Each week on Friday the official nominations are released in two catagories:

Warner Bros. Pictures today announced that it has moved back the release date of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from November 21th 2008 to Summer 2009.
The sixth installment of the blockbuster "Harry Potter" franchise will now open day-and-date domestically and in the major international markets on July 17th 2009.
In making the announcement, Mr. Horn stated, "Our reasons for shifting 'Half-Blood Prince' to summer are twofold: we know the summer season is an ideal window for a family tent pole release, as proven by the success of our last 'Harry Potter' film, which is the second-highest grossing film in the franchise, behind only the first installment. Additionally, like every other studio, we are still feeling the repercussions of the writers' strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films--changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move 'Half-Blood Prince' to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tent pole release for mid-summer."
