Madonna's lead single '4 Minutes' from her 11th studio album 'Hard Candy' which was released today in stores has made another music record.
'4 Minutes' is only the second single in history to have digital sales exceeding one million units in 5 weeks. 'Umbrella' by Rihanna was the first to do so last year back in April 2007.
The single has been downloaded a total of 1,004,482 times in 5 weeks of release.
The second single 'Give It 2 Me' doesnt even have a radio/release date for another month. '4 Minutes' could be downloaded even more until then.
