'Happy Endings' begain its second season with a 13 episode order. ABC has now ordered six additional scripts to be written for the show bringing it up to 19.ABC might be showing some faith in 'Happy Endings' as it's one of the best rated television comedies on broadcast TV this season. It isn't quite the monster that 'Modern Family' is but it's holding its own.
This comes as a surprise to me, after this past week's episode it rose 18% to a series high of 7.54 million viewers, so why not order the 'back 9' full season? I guess maybe if it keeps its viewership for the next two weeks ABC will order the final three episodes.
