ABC Renews 'Wipeout' For Sixth Season

ABC has renewed its reality competition 'Wipeout' for a sixth season.

'Wipeout' has been a steady performer for ABC. The current fifth season premiered in December 2011 and has stayed pretty consistent in the ratings department. ABC uses the series as fillers for cancelled TV series or summer programming. The sixth season will premiere in late 2012.

'Wipeout' wraps its current season in the next couple weeks before the Fall 2012 TV season begins with the series premiere of 'Last Resort.'

Bat For Lashes 2 Release 'Laura'

Bat For Lashes is set to release her lead single from her third studio album, 'The Haunted Man.'

The lead single, 'Laura' was released in July 2012 in Europe but won't get a proper North American release until September. The music video will follow in late August.

'The Haunted Man' will be released in Europe on October 15, and October 23 in North America.
