On October 4, NBC gave 'Night' the 'back 9' bringing the first season from 13 episodes to a full season 22 episodes. NBC's mid-season schedule announced that 'Night' will have a new timeslot, Thursday at 9:30pm. Given the strength of this freshman comedy NBC has now given the series two additional episodes bringing the total of the first season to 24 episodes.
