NBC Announces Midseason Schedule

NBC today announced its new mideason 2012 schedule which features premiere of four new series in 'Smash,' 'The Firm,' 'Fashion Star' and 'Are You There, Chelsea?' The new lineup also includes the return of 'The Voice,' '30 Rock,' 'The Celebrity Apprentice' and 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

In addition, there are day and time period changes for 'Whitney,' 'Up All Night,' 'Rock Centre with Brian Williams' and 'Harry's Law.'

Freshman series 'Whitney' and 'Up All Night' will be swapping day and timeslots in 2012. 'Whitney' will move to Wednesdays at 8PM and will be paired with the new comedy, 'Are You There, Chelsea' which is a perfect match. 'Up All Night' will move to Thursdays at 9:30PM after 'The Office' following its 'office type' comedy block.

Here is the NBC 2012 Midseason schedule:

* You may have noticed both 'Community' and 'Prime Suspect' are not on the midseason schedule. I am pretty sure 'Prime Suspect' will be cancelled after the 13th episode, especially with no available slot for it. 'Community' has been struggling in the ratings department this season, and reaching only three million viewers. 'Community' will be left on the back burner until NBC decides what sitcoms will be renewed for next season.
