NBC Gives 'Grimm' Full Season

The NBC procedural drama, 'Grimm' has been picked up for a full season.

NBC gave the show the 'back 9' bringing the first season from 13 episodes to a full season 22 episodes. The pilot started strong with over six million viewers and a 2.1 rating at its 9pm Friday timeslot and the most recent episode only slipped a bit with almost six million. 

NBC also announced that 'Grimm' will air a special Thursday episode on December 8 at 10pm. It will still have a new episode in its regular timeslot on Friday, December 9. Since 'Prime Suspect' has been cancelled, NBC wants to try out 'Grimm' in its old timeslot to see if the series should be moved to Thursdays. 

Here is a breakdown of the already aired episodes:
01 - Pilot - 2.1 rating - 6.56 million viewers 
02 - Bears Will be Bears - 1.8 rating - 6.01 million viewers
03 - Beeware - 1.6 rating - 5.18 million viewers 
04 - Lonelyhearts - 1.6 rating - 5.44 million viewers
