NBC announced its 2012/13 schedule.
The biggest news is 'The Voice' returning with its first fall cycle and two new nights of comedy, including Friday nights for a total of four nights of comedies.
New comedies include: Go On, The New Normal, Animal Practice and Guys with Kids debut in the fall while Save Me, 1600 Penn and Next Caller are held for mid-season.
New dramas include: Revolution, Chicago Fire debut in the fall while Do No Harm and Infamous are held for mid-season.
Both Smash and The Biggest Loser are not on the fall schedule, but being held for mid-season.
NBC Renewed the following scripted series:
- 30 Rock (Season 7)- Community (Season 4) - Grimm (Season 2) - Law and Order: SVU (Season 14) - The Office (Season 9) - Parenthood (Season 4) - Parks and Recreation (Season 5) - Smash (Season 2) - Up All Night (Season 2) - Whitney (Season 2)
NBC Canceled the following scripted series:
- Are You There, Chelsea (Season 1) - Awake (Season 1) - Bent (Season 1) - Best Friends Forever (Season 1) - Chuck (Season 5) - The Firm (Season 1) - Free Agents (Season 1) - Harry's Law (Season 2) - The Playboy Club (Season 1) - Prime Suspect (Season 1)
