FX has renewed its comedy, 'Wilfred' starring Elijah Wood for a third season.
The season two premiered to less thanone million viewers which is significantly down from the debut's season of almost three million. The second season has been steadily dropping in viewership and has been struggling to hold the audience. The finale was only able to garner 500,000 viewers.
No word on whether this will be a final season or if FX is giving the series a chance to gain more viewers.

Episode 09 - Service - August 16 - 1.05 million viewers
Episode 10 - Honesty - August 23 - 0.83 million viewers
Episode 11 - Questions - August 30 - 0.72 million viewers
Episode 12 - Resentment - September 13 - 0.64 million viewers
Episode 13 - Secrets - September 20 - 0.54 million viewers
The third season will premiere in the summer of 2013.
