HBO has renewed its period drama 'Boardwalk Empire' starring Steve Buscemi and Kelly MacDonald for a fourth season.
'Boardwalk Empire' has been a steady performer for HBO. The third season premiered to over three million viewers when HBOGO and On Demand viewing is accounted for. Since its premiere in September, the series has been losing viewership however the series is one of HBO's only series to constantly get nominated for Best Series at both the Emmys and the Golden Globes.

Episode 01 - Resolution - September 16 - 2.89 million viewers
Episode 02 - Spaghetti and Coffee - September 23 - 2.62 million viewers
Episode 03 - Bone for Tuna - September 30 - 2.36 million viewers
The season will conclude its third season on December 2, 2012. The fourth season will premiere in the Fall of 2013 with another 12 episodes.
