'Go! Pop! Bang!' was originally set to be released in October 2009 with the lead single, 'Bang' featuring M.I.A. but when she became pregnant she delayed the album to fall 2010. In the fall of 2010 she released her second single, 'Sunshine' featuring M.I.A. which became the lead single and the album was to be released in early 2011.
Her label, 'N.E.E.T. Recordings' an imprint of Interscope Records decided to delay the album when 'Sunshine' failed to impact radio and Rye Rye went back into the studio to record more tracks. This allowed her to release a mixtape 'RYEot powRR' in the summer of 2011 with a single featuring Robyn called 'Never Will Be Mine.'
In early 2012 she released her fourth solo single, 'Boom Boom.' At this point it is not known whether 'Boom Boom' will be classified the lead single or third. Her debut solo single, 'Bang' will now only be a bonus track on her debut album.

Fan-favourite tracks Rye Rye has performed live in concert like, 'Witchdoctor,' 'Go Pop Bang,' 'Back It Up' and 'Bang Dis Bitch Out' will not be included but can be found on her mixtape 'RYEot powRR.'
