HBO has renewed its freshman political satire 'Veep' starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Anna Chlumsky for a second season.
'Veep' has been a pretty good hit for HBO, it's series premiere was watched by over one million viewers. With a weeks worth of DVR and HBO Go 'Girls' had over 1.8 million viewers.
As any new show, the series declined in viewership but has stablilzed and has kept between 800 thousand and one million viewers. HBO has renewed the series for 10 episodes, up from eight this season which will air in the spring of 2013.
Here is the break down of the already aired episodes:
Episode 01 - Fundraiser - April 22 - 1.38 million viewers
Episode 02 - Frozen Yoghurt - April 29 - 1.15 million viewers
The season finale, 'Tears' Episode eight will air on June 10.
