FOX Cancels 'The Mob Doctor'

FOX has canceled its struggling freshman drama series, 'The Mob Doctor' starring Jordana Spiro and Zeljko Ivanek after eight episodes.

The series premiere was watched by over five million viewers. The rest of the season dropped in viewership and the most recent episode only had a little under four million viewers. The ratings have tanked and its been pulling in 0.9/1.0 ratings shares which makes it one of the least watched dramas on broadcast network TV. 

All 13 episodes will air but the final four episodes will be shown during New Years Eve and won't make much of an impact. The mid-season replacement, 'The Following' starring Kevin Bacon will take over its timeslot starting January 21, 2013.

Episode 04 - Change of Heart - October 8 - 3.36 million viewers

Episode 05 - Legacy - November 5 - 3.40 million viewers
Episode 06 - Complications - November 12 - 3.01 million viewers
Episode 07 - Turf War - November 19 - 3.08 million viewers
Episode 08 - Game Changers - November 26 - 3.99 million viewers

The now series finale will air on January 7, 2013.
